2026.10.16.1 — Clearer delete confirmations on investment tables

Delete dialogs name the type and rows, show Principal and Current value for FDs, and stay open with Try again when nothing is deleted.

Version 2026.10.16.1 · Last reviewed 2026-10-16

Summary

  • On the seven live type dashboards, the delete confirm title names the type (for example Delete this holding? or Delete 3 PPF transactions?)
  • Row previews use readable labels (symbol, scheme, date, institution) — not database ids — with +N more after five rows
  • The off-page note reads N of M selected aren't on this page, and only appears when some selected rows are off the current page
  • Summary lines show Selected plus the right money label (Available, Current value, Total amount, or FD Principal and Current value)
  • The confirm button is Delete N … (busy state Deleting N…); the warning explains the delete is permanent
  • If nothing is deleted, the dialog stays open as Couldn't delete N … with Try again or Close; partial success still toasts X deleted, Y failed and closes

Who it affects

  • Anyone deleting snapshots, holdings, transactions, or accounts on Bank Account, Stocks, US Stocks, Mutual Funds, Fixed Deposit, Public Provident Fund, or Employee Provident Fund

Action required

None. Use Delete Selected or row Delete as usual — review the dialog, then choose Delete N ….
