2026.10.16.3 — Empty investment types stay on the dashboard
Live type dashboards with no accounts show Add your first account instead of a warning toast and redirect; missing account toasts use clearer copy.
Version 2026.10.16.3 · Last reviewed 2026-10-16
Summary
- Opening a live investment type with no accounts keeps you on that type’s dashboard and shows an empty state with Add your first account — no warning toast and no automatic jump to create
- Applies to Bank Account, Stocks, US Stocks, Mutual Funds, Fixed Deposit, Public Provident Fund, and Employee Provident Fund
- A link to a deleted account (while the type still has other accounts) shows a toast such as Bank Account not found with That account could not be found.
Who it affects
- Anyone who opens a live type dashboard before creating the first account, or after removing every account for that type
- Anyone who follows a link to an account that no longer exists
Action required
None. Use Add your first account when you are ready to create one, or open Explore Investment and choose Track now.
