Create an account under a live investment type so snapshots or holdings have a place to live.

Today you can create accounts for:

TypeAccount meansRequired fields (typical)
Bank AccountOne bank accountNickname, bank name
StocksOne broker sleeveNickname, broker
Mutual FundsOne platformNickname, platform
Fixed DepositOne organizationNickname, organization type + name

Open the app as you go

Use Investment Explorer in the Invesh app — do not look for types outside this list.

Open Investment Explorer

In the sidebar, choose Add Investment to open Investment Explorer. (Sidebar Search opens the command palette — a different control.)

Choose a live type

Select Bank Account, Stocks, Mutual Funds, or Fixed Deposit, then Track now.

Fill the account form

Enter the nickname and institution fields for that type. Optional reference fields (IFSC, client ID, customer ID) help you recognise the account later.

Continue through the Setup wizard

After you save the account, the Setup wizard walks you through the first data step for that type — for example an opening snapshot (bank) or first holding / deposit (stocks, mutual funds, FD). Complete the wizard steps, or finish later from the type dashboard. This is the guided setup flow, not a universal popup on every screen.

Confirm on the type dashboard

Open the type dashboard and confirm the new account appears. Then add data via the type how-to (bank snapshot, stock holding, mutual fund holding, or fixed deposit), bulk holdings, or import. Overview: Add a snapshot or holding.
