2026.11.07 — Recurring Deposits are now tracked
Add and track recurring deposits at banks and the Post Office, with clear value sources, warnings, missed deposits, and closing.
Version 2026.11.07 · Last reviewed 2026-11-07
Summary
- Recurring Deposit (RD) is now a tracked investment type: pick a bank or Post Office, enter monthly deposit, rate, start date, and tenure, and see the projected maturity
- Each value shows where it came from — passbook, bank stated, or projected — with warnings for an old passbook balance, a balance above maturity, a matured RD not closed, and unusual Post Office terms
- Mark missed deposits and close an RD with a date and optional amount received
- Review RDs from Artha, link them to goals, and delete them safely
- Typing an organization name that isn't listed now always shows Other, for every investment type
- Switching between compact and relaxed views now fades in (skipped if your system prefers reduced motion)
Who it affects
