Last reviewed 2026-07-14
Add a single stock position under a broker account. Invested value and P&L come from quantity × average buy price and quantity × current price.
Prerequisites: permission to create holdings, and a Stocks broker account. See Add an investment account and Stocks.
Open the app as you go
Field labels match the Add Holdings form in the Invesh app.
Open Stocks and pick a broker account
In the sidebar, open Stocks (or start from Investment Explorer). Select the broker account. Create one first if you do not have one (nickname + broker).
Start Manual Entry
Open Add Holding on the dashboard, then choose Manual Entry (or Bulk Entry for many rows, or AI Import for Artha).
Enter the position

Tips
- After buys or sells, edit quantity and average buy price
- Update Current Price anytime to refresh P&L (manual valuation — no live feed)
- If you sell out, delete the holding — activity history for that holding is removed with it
- For many rows at once, use Add holdings in bulk
