US Stocks
Track US stock holdings across brokers — quantity, average buy price, and current price in USD, with a USD/INR dashboard toggle.
Last reviewed 2026-07-18
US Stocks tracking lets you record equity positions across US brokers in one place. Each holding stores symbol, quantity, average buy price, and current price in USD so invested value and P&L stay clear. The dashboard can show amounts in USD or INR.
Why it exists
US broker apps only show that broker. Invesh lets you keep multiple broker sleeves under one US Stocks dashboard and roll them into the Wealth Dashboard (in INR).
How tracking works
| Concept | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Account | One brokerage sleeve (nickname + broker) |
| Holding | One stock position (symbol, qty, avg buy, current price — all prices in USD) |
| Invested | Quantity × average buy price (summed across holdings) |
| Current value | Quantity × current price |
| Gain (P&L) | Current value − invested |
This is a holdings-based tracker. Valuation is manual — you update current price yourself to refresh P&L. See Tracker behaviors: US Stocks.
What you need to start
- Broker name (for example Vested, INDmoney, Interactive Brokers, Charles Schwab, Robinhood, Fidelity, Groww, or Other)
- Stock symbol
- Quantity, average buy price, and current price (USD)
Account ID and institution ID are optional. Exchange defaults to NASDAQ (also NYSE, AMEX).
Currency on the dashboard
- Enter prices in USD when you add or edit a holding
- Use the USD / INR toggle on the US Stocks dashboard to switch how hero KPIs, the holdings table, and the chart display amounts
- INR uses the latest USDINR rate when available; if the rate is unavailable, amounts stay in USD
- PDF export follows the same toggle (
$or₹) - The Wealth Dashboard includes US stocks in INR
Keeping P&L current
- After buys or sells, edit quantity and average buy price
- Update current price anytime to refresh P&L (there is no automatic live price feed)
- If you sell out a position, delete the holding — that also removes its activity history (Invesh does not keep a separate realised-P&L archive for deleted holdings)
- Use bulk holdings when adding many rows at once
